A true great and legend.
When he came on the scene in the Olympics he started his reign and stirred up the establishment. His showmanship, wit and humour started so many debates about like or hate him. His record shows him to be The Greatest.
Outside the ring he was even more of a great with his standing up for human rights, religious beliefs.
To throw away his Olympic gold medal in disgust was such a huge expression of sentiment.
When he was reawarded a gold years later it was truly deserved and one of very few moments to savour.
