Similar happened to me in my 2011 +4 as I set off for France a year ago. Speedo assembly was replaced on my return as sensor was working ok.
Last month, in Spain, total mileage and trip returned to zero one morning - all fine thereafter!
Off to Brittany next week - fingers crossed no further speedo problems.
