Try a wet road with white lines when the road temperature is 5C! Brings new meaning to the phrase "Adrenalin is Brown"....

Seriously, even on a warm dry road with hot tyres it possible to lose traction when giving it some in 2nd or 3rd. This is simply because one side of the car has better grip than the other: the LSD seems to cope...when it doesn't then I'm told the back end can snap, quite quickly.

Tarka is an Auto: when traction is unsure I tend to keep in in D, rather than sport, as it softens the throttle and keeps the highest possible gear, usually 5th...!

In sport it is just the same as the manual car.
