I am pretty certain that Morgan didnt build cars that way 30 years ago.
Having owned morgans for nearly 40 years I can assure you, you are wrong. The factory build quality has never been better. It's just that the quality of most other manufactured goods we buy has improved quality at a much faster rate than morgan.
