I would imagine that the electrical issues I had with the door window mechanism on the S3 and S4 were down to the actuators getting wet, the dials in the S4 misting up down to water getting in behind the dash.

A lot of people in the past have said their Aero's were watertight. I have always taken that with a pinch of salt but they may have been the lucky ones or not used the car as a daily driver in all climates :-)

Agreed, I had a S3, did 10K miles in the first year, had major electrical issues by water ingress, mainly due to bad design and poor workmanship.

There was no drain holes in the door, so rain water collected inside the door drowning the electrics, worse of all, the plumbing for the screen wash came adrift behind the dash, so every time I push for screen wash, it squirted water behind the dash causing massive electrical shorts.

But I still love the Morgan, I recently looked at the latest Aero8 in a dealership, much better, at least it now has drain holes built into the doors smile

Unfortunately when the salesman try to open the boot, the boot was stuck, only after a bit of faffing around with one finger keeping on the boot release button while the other hand wriggling the boot lid, it finally popped open.

One must wonder what happens if I needed to refuel, and the boot refuse to open!! confused2 ooo

Do I use a crow bar to lever it open, oh dear.
