Nick,

Bought Tarks, the shiny brown Plus 8 in Nov 2014, with 15,000 miles on the clock. It is a Supersport Aero underneath. Auto, paddle shift, all the extras.

Now has 26,000 miles on it. I expect to take it to 100,000. It is a car to be driven and enjoyed, not a display model, even though it can pretend to be the latter.

Two problems, both sorted by MMC under warranty. One was a legacy of a minor repair when it was their demmo car that they didn't properly fix, the other a circuit board failure behind the dash.

No silly niggles, not problems. I assume it will work and that if I wanted to drive it across Europe it wouldn't be a problem.

Is it representative? I suspect not, in that it had all the post manufacture issues sorted by the factory as it was both press demmo car and the development hack for the paddle shift system and the new steering wheel.

I do hope you get your car sorted: An Aero is a really wonderful thing.
