I've been able to 'retire' at a very young age. Although I claim it's a gap year!!
The 'useful time left'- 'available money' equation, seemed to fall in favour of stopping work, with a degree of fiscal common sense.
I don't turn anything down. If someone say do you fancy……., the answer is always yes from me. I can't imagine how I had time to work!!
I have succeeded in managing down SHMBO's expectation of what I can realistically achieve on a daily basis. I'm not sure I've ever hit the target!!
