I'm thinking of installing the Morgan stage 2 kit but I am a bit concerned over the exhaust appearance. According to my dealer the new exhaust doesn't allow for the heat shields and is much shorter. Since you've installed one, can you confirm or send me a pic of your completed stage 2 upgrade.

Here's a photo showing a Stage 1 pipe (same pipes on Stage 2) without the heat shield. If you want heat shields I believe you can fit the recent type of complete linked bracket assembly replacing the old style two separate brackets. The majority of the silencer section stays at a touchable temperature but a narrow band at the leading end and a wider band at the back end do get extremely hot as evidenced by the colouration of the stainless in the photo. I've got black headers so things might look a little different on yours.
