He said that the engine will respond better to the higher oil temp as well as if it's too cool, the water vapors in the oil will not vent off properly.

I'd just be careful of having to low of oil temp.


I have sent Ultra Cool a query as to fitting this on the M3W. Having an oil cooler that kicks on when the temps are getting too high sounds like a good idea to me. My M3W is a 2012 without the now stock cooling fans. I live in Vermont where traffic lights, traffic jams and stop and go traffic are myth and legend. Except for the coming July 4th Parade which I will be in and the Fall driving through the various townships where people will flock in droves to see the leaves change. "Once more before I die, George, I wish to see the leaves change..."


What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
