The Transport Museum near Belfast is well worth a visit as you are interested in things automotive. Allow 2 or 3 hours to view exhibits from virtually all forms of transport.
In Ireland we have rather an interesting history in manufacturing trains, ships, aircraft, tractors, motorbikes, motor cars, racing cars and other vehicles.
