Hi M3W owners..............further to my post about oil changes. I have fitted an EZOil Drain Valve and it works a treat..Thank you for the info. Whilst struggling underneath to remove the oil filter I noted that my 2014 M3W has a 46mm "inspection" hole in the Torque Compensator Bell Housing. Thinking that a blanking grommet had been omitted or lost I contacted Morgan. It appears that on earlier M3W's there was a grease nipple on the torque compensator which required access and it was also a drain plug? They said there is no reason why a blank/grommet should not be inserted but there was no dedicated Morgan part!I tried to source one on line and all the local parts shops ... all to no avail. Eventually, discussing the problem at my local flying club, was able to find a blanking plug used in aviation. It is a beautiful interference fit and can be tapped flush but is then easily removed with a flat bladed screwdriver without damage to the housing or the plug. So far I have done about 50 miles (wx permitting!) and the plug has remained in place and has not caused any problems with the transmission.
Next time you are under your M3W looking for the engine oil drain plug (I was staggered that M3W owners could not find the engine oil plug and would consider an oil change with out fully draining the oil!!) Have a look around and see if you have an open inspection hole in the torque compensating housing. If so think of all the road dirt and gundge that is going to accumulate there?
