Sorry but being able to mess about in a bright warm garage is just great but yes insulation, electics and other stuff has to be paid for.

Fair enough, I certainly agree with you about having a decent electricity supply to the garage, it's just that having 50m of 6mm SWA laid to our garage ended up costing us way more than £200, and that's with our electrician doing the job at mate's rates.

Well worth doing, though.
