Please find an extract of the Bill of Rights 1689, enacted and formally entered into Statute following the Declaration of Rights 1689-"that all grants and promises of fines and forfeitures of particular persons before conviction are illegal and void ".
As you are will be aware , The Bill of Rights is a constitutional statute and may not be repealed impliedly .
I am not aware that the road Traffic Act 1994 or Local Government
Act 2000 makes express reference to repealing the Bill of Rights Act 1689.
Therefore it would appear that you or an agent [color:#FF0000]has no lawful authority to demand money for an alleged infringement that has not been dealt with by a court of law .
If you wish to proceed against me, please refer the matter to a Court of Law in an orderly fashion. Otherwise, the forfeit demand of me is illegal and void. [/color]

Having driven on to a farmers field as directed by staff without being stopped for payment (and no charge notice anywhere to be seen), we returned after the event to find a penalty notice demanding £100! If paid within 14 days this is reduced to £60. Considering the tickets to attend on Sunday were £200 each I think this is an incredible rip off. Consider this a heads up if you intend to go next year.
