Saw the car at McLaren Ascot during one of my visits.
Had a drive to Supercar Sunday at Goodwood with some other Mc's, including a P1, 650S and some very well driven 12C's, as you say like the Le Luc drives. Absolutely amazing, it's a rapier compared to the hammer of our Ultima!
Like you I'm a fanboy of the car which is a great British achievement. Incidentally I think I've looked at all those YouTube videos where it's faster in a straight line than all the competition.
Go for it Clipper, you'll never regret it. A very different experience to a Mog, but likewise worth having...
P.S. A visit for three to the MTC was part of the deal, haven't been able to take advantage yet, but hopefully sometime late September!
