Apparently the crash was caused due to an ABS sensor failure on the front, during a fast lap the driver was on the edge and thus was relying on the electronics.
Apparently going forward if a sensor fails the car will now head into limp mode, as the driver missed the warning light on the dash..easily done I imagine at that speed.
