The Fairborne GT screen does protect the drivers outer hand & not noticed much water on my legs. They make a 5cm shorter GTS screen which I think does not extend outwards as much for the same price.
My GT screen is made out of Lexan. Does anyone know if its OK to use rain beading treatments like RainEx or Diamondbrite Rainscreen on polycarbonate screens? Fairbourne could not answer & Daimondbrite did not respond.

Polycarbonate/Lexan seems pretty robust stuff. Fire retardant and coping fine with diesel fuel and sealant in my experience. Could you test the products you mention on the old original screens maybe, since Fairbourne mention theirs are of the same material.
