Old thread but reasons pro and con on the Fairbourne screen.
It blocks the wind blast very well but on real hot days, like 90F, sticking your head around it is a help.
Here is the only downside I have not heard mentioned, the tonneau cover does not fit well with it. MMC did not design the tonneau for the screen support.
Hmmm - my tonneau doesnt reach the (Fairbourne) screen. But each tonneau is hand fitted / not interchangable so, as ever, YMMV
