Looks odd to me in the eBay adv, normally a crash recovery would show lots of pics of damage.
On costs, I think chassis is about £15k, engine £15k, then new front wings cowl etc £5k, and probably about 12 weeks labour, so a rather big bill somewhere around £60-80k, if you have to pay for labour. Probably not rare or valuable enough yet to warrant the cost.
I agree, Adrian. I suspect the guy has bought the car thinking it could be repaired easily, but has now realised that even assuming it's possible, the cost of the repair would outweigh the value of the result.
