Competing thoughts:

1. Sounds like order to delivery in the US is about 3-4 months? But that puts us northern-winter folks in the situation of receiving a current order in, say, November. The 30 month warranty means we get 3 non-driving winters and 2 driving summers under warranty. So order in the winter for spring delivery to maximize miles under warranty.

2. Screw that. Order now, drive it while still alive, and forget the warranty. Who knows when delivery will really occur anyway, price may go up in the meantime, and who knows when things will go wrong that need fixing.

I assume most of you avoid salty winter roads.
