This is from a SAS flight in 1969 not my photo.

Although I only had good experiences on business flights the majority of them took place when you wore a suit and Sleezyjet and Bryanair were not even in the gestation period.
There were standards and they were right, low cost airlines are about as attractive as a British train journey to me.



It reminds me of the wonderful Smorgasbord served on the Harwich to Esbjerg DFDS ferry in the 1980's.




a nice and time reflecting pic. It shows so many details which have changed during almost 50 years of flight (and society) culture. Today due to very sad developments even the captain was not allowed to bring such a knife on board. In 1969 it symbolized best fresh custom food and culinaric handcrafts.
