IIRC my schedule a few years back:
Wednesday fly back from New York - arrive ZH Thursday Morning
Thursday evening fly to Durban via Joburg - arrive Friday lunch
Sunday - run ultra-marathon, 5am start with 28c in Durban - peaking at 37c, taking just over 11 hours
Tuesday pm - fly back to ZH arrive Wednesday morning
My body really wasn't sure what the hell was going on - and the muscle soreness from the run was far from fun on the flight back.
