This talk reminds me of an encounter I had one year at Silverstone with an MGA Owner. I'd parked the Roadster with the cockpit cover in place. As I returned to the car, the MGA owner enthusiastically said "I really must get one of these".
Puffing up with pride as I absorbed his epiphany, he then said "Who makes these storm covers?"
