If I can remember correctly, it was 40years ago, I changed my '59 4/4 to steering arm stalk. It was from a Mark 1 Cortina and then changed the wheel and boss to a wood rim Les Leston.
The early stalks were simple clamp on with tumble switches for cancelling. The wiring was standard green with white and red tracers.
The problem now is that the Blumells spoked wheel and toggle switch looks more in keeping with the car.
Go for the buzzer and vibrator. You will be turning all the time and leaving it on for the enjoyment.
