My 1962 4/4 has the 3-position toggle switch in the center of the dash for the turn signals. I'm constantly driving around signalling for the last turn I made and only realizing it when I'm about to make the next one. Annoying to others and dangerous for me.
A Lucas vacuum delay signal switch as used in some MGs and Jaguars would work with no wiring changes, and should fit where the toggle switch is now. Has anyone done this? And am I missing any possible installation problems?
Reproduction Lucas switches are available, but so far i haven't found a reproduction knob. Any ideas?
