Years ago we were on a family "Disney Trip" in Florida.
Big barge of a car....
We were staying one night in a hotel in the Everglades. To get to it we needed the Tamiami Trail. What an experience!
Arrow straight for miles.......a cheer when a bend was seen......another arrow straight section. A comfort stop at a cafe and a check under the car for alligators before getting to it...there were some swimming in the canal wide open area next to the carpark
"Dad,,,what are you looking under the car for".

Back to the road......an awesome bit of engineering, raised above the watertable. Cruise control on and a gentle ride to watch for wildlife. Eagles, many birds etc. Sounds coming from the nearby undergrowth.
It made me think about US cars and their reputation as soft ride barges with no need to corner ! Enjoyed the car as the roads were different to here and they suited each other.
Get a Morgan and find the roads to do it justice, a different experience and so much fun.
