My over-riding impression during the build is the pressure to get cars out of the door. As I said at the time, you don't get this impression on a factory tour but you certainly do when you follow one car.
The design team are focused on gilding what's there, not ironing out the creases. I love ironing out the creases and for me that's a huge attraction, but I also understand that many buyers just want a car to enjoy driving.
On a slightly different subject, if the trad really does "cease to be" in 2018, there will most certainly be an end of line special edition. That might be one to save up for......
