I guess it's all about living in the moment. Which I find is easier said than done the older I become.
My dog however, keeps my mind in check, because I know he always lives in the moment and he always displays such happiness and contentment. It doesn't matter how many times he repeats the things he enjoys doing. It's like it's the first time, every time.
Absolutely spot on, and that's why a good dog is such a wonderful gift, they ask for nothing but some food and love and repay it a hundred fold just by watching them enjoy every moment. My dog has been blind (as in both eyes removed) for the last six years and he is still full of sheer fun. We could learn a lot from them
