I used Motul 7100 4T 20W-50 for the last change.
Doesn't sound like the noise is translating into increased wear. So, am happy to accept it as simply part of the engine.
Just have never heard a valve train make so much noise and not be tapping too hard on the ends of the valves (rather than something closer to a pushing action).
