The car that I drove was a yellow 75th anniversary model 4/4 which I think is also known as a narrow bodied plus 4 (am I right?), (I think it's name was bumble whilst it was for sale at BHM?)
I would like a narrow bodied +4 but these seem to be rare and also cost around the same as a +4, leaving me considering a 4/4 with some mods etc, the 4/4 I test drove just didn't seem to have the 'get up and go' that the 2.0 car did, I did miss the torque that the 2.0 has.
My thoughts on the 2.0 car I test drove was similar to yours Roger, unfortunately I just wasn't in a buying position at the time,
