The sentence construction is appalling but I take from it that Australians need more assistance with their braking than do most of the rest of the citizens of the civilised world. Spare me. I'm cancelling my plans to return and preparing to settle somewhere in the civilised world where drivers are allowed to brake without "brake-assist standards."
