Trouble is that it is a Morgan bonnet and what was made for one car will never fit another, unless you happen to be unbelievably lucky.

You could always start with the bonnet and build a car to fit it!
Perhaps that is what Morgan should Bl**dy well do. Instead of trying to reduce costs by using cheap screws etc. They could invest in a few simple jigs and make all bonnets (and mudguards in 3 different standard widths) off the shelf items. It would save a fortune in hand making parts to fit every individual car.
But then what would I know production techniques
