Thanks all for the feedback, looks as if it is the starter. Probebly the solinoid contacts which I bet you cannot get to. Wanted to know if any other series4 Aero's have had this problem. Had the wing off today and had a look, looks as if it is a garage job as it seems as if you nead to remove the exhaust manifold for access (you cannot even see all the manifold bolts) its so cramped in there.
And to get the exhaust manifold off you have to remove the steering column and the brake master cylinder.....
