I went from Preston to North Wales and back earlier this year with windscreen folded and one aeroscreen, googles or sunnies but no hat and found it absolutely fine
Infact I would say there was less wind buffeting from behind. It actually felt easier to drive
The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was the restricted view that the folded windscreen gave over the near side bonnet and wing but with these windscreenless solutions there isn't a problem
Although I like my folding windscreen, knowing what I know now, I would have preferred this solution because talking the windscreen on and off isn't a big job and I would have just put two simple connectors on the heated windscreen cables
