Has anyone recently removed the driveshaft on a mid sixties 4/4. Tunnel cover removed and the rear 4 bolts on the shaft which attach to the rear end front yoke removed. Thought the shaft would slide forward slightly without taking the u-joints snap rings out to take the u-joint apart...but no go...shaft tucked in very tight and there is no movement forward. It appears that I will need to take the U-joint cups apart in the rear in order to remove the shaft. any thoughts
