I bought a couple of these (scroll to the bottom of the page), cheap and cheerful but perfectly adequate and surprisingly hardy and well made for the price. Wheels and telescopic handles too for ease of shunting around.

As for waterproofing these transparent zip up bags keep them nice and dry and you can still see the case. A few quid from "The Range" or here:
