Superb work and the burr oak an inspired choice in my view. There are some lovely detail touches and I like the glovebox latch in particular. I'd be interested in where you sourced that.
Thank you all for your positive comments on the Dashboard. Chester.G, with regard to the hinges being hidden, it's as Peter had commented hidden hinges do not seem to be available for small flush mounting doors. I have tried to source suitable hinges as I had intended using them in combination with a push release catch for the glove box door, but it's as a friend had commented" it would leave almost 50% of the Dashboard featureless and out of balance" and in truth looking at the finished item I must agree.
Jays, with regard to you question regarding the Latch, I purchased that from
http://onestop-locks.com/quarter-turn-la...stance-559.html however I did have to modify the latch to make it suitable for this application. If it is your intention to use the latch similarly, then I would happily modify it for you, depending on the thickness of the door
