Hello Gordon,

My first morgan was a classic +8, then I went for an AERO S4.

The Aero is much faster; braking action is much better; for me much better looking; much better noise; people are much more enthusiastic when seeing it; the car is safer with abs, ebd, airbag; much more comfortable; the auto gear box is a pleasure to drive, you can drive it during heavy rain without being wet from the side-windows,.... but... I still miss my classic.

Driving the Aero doesn't bring you more pleasure, you are just driving faster, and don't expect to drive normally, it is just impossible, the car won't let you!!

Driving the +8 (I never drove a roadster but I expect to be pretty much the same) bring you a lot of fun but still at a "descent speed" and the car cost less for everything! (insurance, tax, fuel milage, services, anti thieve systems, ....)

So like the others said, I guess there are no good advices on which is better but more on what you expect from your car! If you like to have "the best" and if you can afford it, then the Aero is for probably for you! Anyway even if you go for a classic, you will always look at the Aero and have some regrets wink

But if you ask me, what will be my next Morgan? I love my Aero but without any hesitations, it will be a roadster or even a 4/4 sport. A classic Morgan is like a first love, you will always think about it and always try to find it back.

Julien
