Me again!
Apologies if I am being annoying, this may seem a daft question.
Are narrow bodied plus 4's relatively easy to get hold of, or do people tend to hang on to them thus making them rare?
From a aesthetic point of view I prefer the look of the 4/4, but engine wise I prefer the plus 4. Basically I cannot choose!
Hypothetically, would it be possible to buy a 4/4 and swap the engine, or is that really stretching the options?
Thanks again
Rylan
As far as I am aware there is no difference in the width of the bodies, it is the width of the wings which make the difference to the 2 types.
It is the width of the wheels which dictate the width of the wings. I chose wire wheels for my + 4 so it came with the wider wings.
I could of course be completely wrong on this !!
