Plus 8s seem to vary a lot in "fillability": Tarka is mostly OK.
It does seem to depend on the pump: I'm not sure why. Some I use allow an easy fill whilst others keep stopping or cause a blow back.

So does the customer "filling experience" depend on the care and attention of the person fitting the rubber tube? It seems to be that a few mm difference in the position of the hole in the rear panel could have a big influence on fuel flow through the filler.

Given the angle between the tank and the rear panel and the poor alignment between tank filler and fuel cap filler I wonder if a custom moulded silicone fuel hose of the correct angle help?
