Ah Latin.
What a disaster for me.
When I started Latin I was two years behind my class.
I tried so hard to catch up but I never did. Sadly in doing so it dragged down quite a few of my other grades.
My teacher was Ms Griffith ...a dragon ..I was actually terrified of her.
She was also deputy head and could spot the banned nail varnish on the girls at 100 meters with ease!
I do recall managing reasonable well,.... until we arrived at Pluperfect Subjunctive. My house of cards collapsed!
You can tell ...I still need counselling to this day 52 years later!
