Paul and Richard. I never thought I would be jealous of rain but to hear it tapping on our tiles now would be bliss. We are in our third week of below zero temperatures and the inevitable heavily salted roads. Rain would mean temps above zero and the possibility of salt free roads. Neither the hangar nor the garage is heated.
We are having a sort of winter drought here. We really need some rain. We had a little snow a couple of weeks ago but that is all. Sunshine every day and temperatures hovering above and below zero.

Why not have a look at Portugal. Has great beaches, lovely people, a great climate, a tradition of light aircraft, and lots and lots of eucalypti. If it wasn't for the language and the architecture you would think you were somwhere in Australia. If it wasn't for unavoidable commitments here that is where we would be going.
