Talk Morgan Forums Morgan Sports Cars Maintenance & Servicing Exhaust back box removal?

In my quest for a nicer exhaust sound I've come across the option to remove/omit the back box with a straight through pipe off the original middle silencer.

Has anyone tried this option and if so what were the effects?

I don't really want to go to the expense of a sports system and suspect the likes of the Librand's might be a little too loud.
