Stewart, my deflectors had the screws coming through from the outside as the perspex was countersunk that way. The nut side protruded enough to prevent folding them parallel to the sidescreen line. They looked like "jug ears", even after shortening the screws as much as possible. They were also non symeyric, the nearside being mounted upside down to give wingmirror clearance. I can't be bothered to make a lot of mods at this time due to sidescreens being used . I may make an effort when the weather improves as I find their effect marginal. If I could get them flatter to the car then the wingmirror issue would be solved. Not a very high priority though.
