I remember being at Silverstone for the 2009 race when the Morgans took both races. Whilst the other cars did seem louder (Audi, Porsche etc) the sheer sound pressure generated by the Morgans V8 and side exhausts made them more painful. A small girl standing with her father repeatedly pointed out that it was the most uncomfortable car as it went past.
Isn't that why it lost the championship that year, it was banned or penalised in the last race due to not meeting noise regs?
