I think our Morgan has saved someones life.
The car has only been on the road for a week (17 reg) and we have been out in it at every opportunity taking advantage of the weather.
Yesterday we went feeding the ducks (about 15 miles away), then stopped on the way home at the farm shop. This is about 3 miles from home. As we left, she that must be obeyed thought she would like a drink. There are three pubs between the shop and home, but because of the car, and sunshine, we went about 8 miles in the opposite direction to a pub we have been in only once in the last 40 years.
As we turned into the car park, we heard a faint shout for help. Stopping the car, we went to investigate, and found a man in the back of his refrigerated delivery van. He had gone in to sort out his ice cream, and the door had closed on him. He had been stuck for about 20 minutes - pitch black, and minus 25 deg C. in only a polo shirt and jeans.
He was very grateful to say the least.
So if we hadn't been in the Morgan, we wouldn't have gone to that pub, and even if we had, without the roof down, we wouldn't have heard him.
