If I remember correctly there was a stripped down, and highly modified, Morgan 4/4 that was raced in Australia. If I recall correctly one of its variations was a boat tail, perhaps even without mudguards. Another thing that I think was done was that the steering wheel was moved to the centre making it a single seater.

I have searched the net but can't find any photos. It was raced, I think, at Adelaide or Melbourne.

The only photo I found was of Colin Uphill racing a Morgan in Adelaide. I'm not sure if this is the owner who radically modified his car over a period of time.
