Does anyone know what the current Morgan metal gear knob was originally intended for? It is not the Mazda MX5 because the top of the Mazda lever is threaded to take a different knob whereas the Morgan knob, despite all sorts of threaded bits, has an inner section that slides on the gear lever and is held by a grub screw.
