I saw a lovely solution at Donington recently - a piece of perspex had been cut to cover the lower 1/2-1/3 of the glovebox and glued to the inside lip - a piece of channel plastic put over the upper edge to stop any sharp edges.
I have just made one for mine and will remove the mesh which has come adrift anyway. Just have to work out how to remove the front of the dash - looks easy but - hey it`s a Morgan and the simplest of jobs couls easily involve a complete rebuild!
