What an appalling story, the death of young George Cheese, apprentice at Sytner Audi Reading, driven to suicide by appalling bullying behaviour from his so-called "superiors" at work.
It sounds like it went way beyond sending him for a long stand or left handed screw driver; he was covered in brake fluid, set alight, beaten and punched. I'd like to have thought that this sort of behaviour had died out 50 years ago.
Reading through the report from the coroners court, I was particularly disgusted by the apparent lack of remorse shown by the alleged perpetrators. I wouldn't want any of these people near my car. As to the management, they should hang their heads in shame that they allowed such goings on.
