Afraid not; the switch used on the four speed Plus Eights was not, I'm fairly certain, shared with BMC/BL cars of the era. Transit and Cortina spring to mind.
One occasionally sees them at autojumbles but they are not as common as the Dolomite type.
The correct item has a round stalk rather than an angular one. If originality is not an issue then it's more than possible to adapt one to fit but getting the indicator cancelling sleeve to line up may be a tad of a challenge.
I have the correct one in stock (reserved for my +8 DHC project so not for sale) and I'm happy to post a photo is this helps.
